What is Immersive Ag?
Frontier Farming Systems and Mallee Sustainable Farming have partnered to pioneer a new way of conducting agricultural extension. Immersive ag was created to overcome the challenges of distance and time, allowing farmers to view field days and trials anywhere, anytime using a smart phone, tablet or computer.
Immersive ag brings the trial site to the viewer offering 360 vision on the screen and the ability to move through and compare trial plots, including 3D drone footage and integrated observations with results that are updated throughout the season.
This platform provides an immersive experience of our key research and development activities allowing farmers, advisers and the wider community to access the latest trial information from the tractor cab, office or lounge room.
